Had the most amazing time here, so sad we only booked for a night. The hosts were so welcoming and attentive, you can tell they put their all into this place. We stayed at the Fauns Hideaway and the room was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully themed. The facilities they have are amazing too, private swimming pool and hot tub all free. I can’t wait to return!

Wow what an amazing place. We stayed for 2 nights in the beavers den and didn’t want to leave. A highlight was definitely cozying up with Squeak the cat throughout the day. The decoration is incredible and fully immersive - we really felt like we were in Narnia! The owner gave us a tour of the bee museum before we left and he is possibly one of the nicest people I have ever met. The staff are lovely too and gave us a full tour of the tennis court, outdoor bar and cinema, jacuzzi and sauna, hot tub and trail of illusions when we got there - they also gave responses within a few minutes on the private chat they have. It’s so close to Oxford as well so great location. I only wish we lived closer so we could come here all the time- well done everyone you’ve got something really special here

We had the most incredible stay at Faun’s hideaway for one night and I can honestly say it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed in England. Everything is done to perfection, and the little details make it such a special place. This is all without the fact you also get use of a swimming pool, jacuzzi and a sauna in the woods which just tops it off. The grounds are kept pristine, and the communication from the team was excellent. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back! Thank you for a magical stay

My partner and I spent a night here over a weekend recently and it's a lovely, whimsical and relaxing place to stay. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and had plenty of help and support. We chose The Fauns Hideaway and it was very detailed and thought out. The grounds were pretty and had some resident feline friends! The only downside is we couldn't spend more time exploring and using the facilities as we could only afford one night, but it helps knowing some of the funds go toward a good cause. Thank you for having us!

What an amazing stay we had here for our 2nd wedding anniversary! Its so authentic, quirky and clean. It has all the mod cons as well as a well equipped kitchen for self catering. Log burner was a real treat along with the fold away TV at the end of the bed. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

My wife booked us a couple of nights in the Treehouse in January 2026, and it was fantastic! My two sons (3yo and 6yo) loved staying in a treehouse, exploring the woods, and playing with the slide and zip wire. It was perfect for a nice, quiet post-Christmas getaway. The amount of effort that the hosts have put into making the whole place magical is amazing, we loved all the little details and models as you walk around and the illusion trail (though a tad short) was very impressive. We were the only people staying on the first night so had the pool, hot tub, tennis courts and sauna too ourselves. There was another couple staying on the Saturday but we only saw them once so the whole place felt like our own little wonderland. We made a camp fire on the Saturday evening, cooked marshmallows, saw deer in the woods and woke up to the sound of bird song. Great experiences for all. Can't recommend this enough, we will be back!

We had an amazing stay truly an unforgettable experience. Every detail of the place is so thoughtfully cared for, making us feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning. Solving the escape room was such a fun and challenging adventure, definitely a highlight of our stay. The chocolates were absolutely delightful, a sweet touch that made everything even more special. We loved the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the warmth of the hosts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway

Where to start? I came down here to escape from my busy family and work life. I have been working on a book for several years and needed somewhere peaceful to get away and focus. Well this place was perfect! In every way. From the beautiful setting to subtle tech that is built in to make this place truly magical. It is beautifully thought out and crafted to perfection. From the under floor heating that kept me warm throughout to the sound system, remote control lights and cosy projector in the nook where the bed is, everything was superb. Even the knives were some of the best I have used. Everything is luxury. I went down in mid November and had no problem sitting out on the beautifully crafted veranda under the heated lamp overhead. Any issue I had (and it was all due to me being shockingly bad with technology) was swiftly dealt with by the on hand Isla who had the patience of a saint. You are warmly welcomed upon arrival, shown around all the additional facilities which I will mention shortly, and entered into a wattsapp group where you can easily connect with people and receive any assistance with any issue, big or small. Inside the treehouse itself, there is everything you need from a built in dishwasher, all utensils, a secret mirror, underfloor heating which can be adjusted to the perfect temperature, remote control blinds for privacy, remote control lights and projector to watch in bed after a great day strolling the forest. Everything you would need and more - not to mention the secret door inside the wardrobe that leads out to the zip wire and slide! It is truly magical. Facilities - Sauna in the middle of the forest that overlooks the stunning woodland. Jacuzzi that bubbles at 37 degrees. Just stunning when it is so cold outside and you are laying there wrapped in the warm bubbles. The private swimming pool equipped with floats, balls, nets - anything to enjoy playing with the family. There is also an outdoor screen, tennis court, walk of illusions and outdoor bbq's. I didn't visit the last 4 things as I was there to work but I would imagine they would be great in the summer. All in all this place was everything I could have dreamed of and more. I don't normally write reviews but I simply had to for this place. It is just fantastic. Massive congratulations to Yaz for creating such a magical and inspiring place.
